Learning Differences

Roughly 20% of the school aged population suffers from a learning difference, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and processing deficits. While there are typically resources in place to assist these students at most schools, they often don’t get the specialized instruction they need. Instead, they are tragically labeled as ‘stupid’ and lose the self-confidence to achieve what is possible for them given their frequently higher level of intellect.

Alliance Tutoring, with specialized tutors experienced in working with these students, caters to these students’ unique needs specifically.

One-On-One Format

The one-on-one format offers the opportunity to indulge more differentiated instruction: with learning based in visual, auditory and/or kinesthetic mediums, where classroom instruction is frequently limited to one.

Specialized Instruction

Specialized instruction combined with a focus on ego remediation returns these students to a place of self-confidence, providing them the tools to thrive in traditional academic structures with the supplied alternative approaches.
*Generous scholarships available on sliding scale based on demonstrated need.
